Concerns for the COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

To Our Patients:

As concerns for the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continue to increase, I want to assure patients and families that my focus is on the health and well-being of our patients, staff, and community. At Basin Dental we have done our best to navigate through all the recommendations from our local and federal leaders to help minimize the spread of this virus. The most recent information we have received has come from the Utah Department of Health and Governor Gary R. Herbert:

In order to preserve masks, gloves and other protective equipment for medical professionals assisting in the fight against COVID-19, restrictions on medical, dental, and veterinary procedures that are non-urgent are now restricted until April 25, 2020. If you would like more information on this announcement please visit https://coronavirus.utah.gov/state-restricts-non-elective-surgeries/

Of course, this means that we will be extending the closure of our office until at least the specified date, April 25, 2020. We will be closely monitoring the situation and updates as they are made available to us. As we are able to return to work we hope that you will understand the difficulty it will be to reschedule and make arrangements for all of our patients. We will reach out to all of those patients that have appointments scheduled during the closure once we know our official reopening date. For patients scheduled after April 25, your appointments will remain the same. With the difficulty this situation presents for our staff and the health of our business, we are definitely looking forward to seeing you as soon as we can. We will not, however, do anything that will put our patients and staff at risk.

We will also continue to be available for emergencies that may arise. Please call or text me so that I can find a way to help you. The number for emergencies at this time is 801-643-7035 or through email at basindental11@gmail.com.

For any other questions please contact us through email at basindental11@gmail. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. We will continue to keep you informed of our status the best that we can. Please do what you can to slow the spread and get us through this situation as soon as possible.
Stay safe and I look forward to seeing you soon.
